In two Days Hands on workshop on “Sensors Interfacing with Arduino “for our students of Biomedical Engineering Department has completed successfully. Workshop was held on 30th – 31st Jan 2017 at Biomedical department in class no. 117. Workshop was organised by faculty Palak. A. Parikh with support of Prof. Himanshu A. Patel (H. O. D., BME). Our main objective behind this workshop was fulfilled as students practiced interfacing of more than 10 sensors with arduino board. Not only this they were taught how to write program on their own. Prof. Nikhil patel and Jigar patel gave lecture in order to teach them programming. Ashish Patel (final year topper student) and Bharat Mundhara (Passed out student) accompanied faulties during workshop. Ashish Patel helped students with sensors interface and program trouble shooting during workshop while Bharat demonstrated his project “Robot using Raspberry Pi controlled by local Wi-Fi router. They inspired our students to independently start working on their own ideas and make project.
In total 30 students took part in this workshop from our department. Among them 20 students were from 4th sem, 7 students from 6th sem and 3 from 8th sem.
